About Us

The Beginning

Danny VanBuskirk was living in Colorado and working with his brother at Elite Hood Cleaning of Colorado, a hood and exhaust cleaning service they founded in 2002.

In 2011, he and his wife Emily moved to Wisconsin. In 2012, they decided to found Elite Hood Cleaning as a Wisconsin chapter of the original Colorado business.

"When we moved to Wisconsin, I went back to my roots in the restaurant industry, however, I still felt this pull to get back into business for myself.  After living here for about a year, I decided to start investing in my own equipment and gear to start Elite Hood Cleaning part-time." VanBuskirk said. "It was only a couple of months later that I saw how big the demand for a quality hood cleaner in our area was and decided to make the jump into running the business full time."

Elite Hood Cleaning of Wisconsin was built the same way it was in Colorado - by dedication, a lot of hard work and quality service for our customers.

Growing our business and our love for Wisconsin

Elite Hood Cleaning has gained more and more business each year by adhering to two edicts - A Good Reputation, and A Presence In The Community. The word of mouth has spread, and the couple put earnings back into the business to get new and better equipment and work to train technicians correctly. They love the Wisconsin community and strive to be a presence in any way they can - from joining local associations like the Wisconsin Business Association and the Okauchee Area Business Association - to working with local firefighters giving demonstrations on kitchen fire safety.

"We are heading into our seventh year, and we are not tiring of this company or this community."

Whether you own a restaurant, or a have a business with a kitchen, like hospitals, prisons, nursing homes and the like, Elite Hood Cleaning is there for all your hood and exhaust cleaning and pressure washing needs.
