Driploc’s Hinge Kit for commercial kitchen exhaust fans, allows hood cleaners necessary access to clean the hood exhaust system and future costly repairs.

Driploc’s Hinge Kit is easy to install on commercial kitchen exhaust fans (only 15 minutes). Available in packs of 1, 3, 6, 18, 32, and 162

Driploc’s new redesign adds exciting new features, such as side mounted brackets. These brackets are designed with multiple long axel placement holes that allow the bracket to mounted on angled curbs up to 45 degrees. Brackets can be laid on their sides, which gives a very low axel hole fitted for areas with very low clearance. Their larger, taller “L” bracket style can be mounted on the side of fan curb allowing them to work well on fanbases with reducers. The Upper Hinge Assembly was reengineered not only to make them stronger but also by eliminating the welded on knuckle on the bottom of the hinge, we can now sit on top of a shelf and hinge the fan. In addition to all of that we added a face cap plate which reinforces the fan bases to add strength where needed on larger or aging fans.

Lastly, the Type#2s is expandable meaning if additional support is along the fan base then you can’t simply purchase an additional “Upper Hinge Assembly”, slide it onto the axel along with the 2 upper assemblies.
